Frequently Asked Questions

  1. Do you take insurance? 
    Serenity Counseling Services, PLLC is in network with Colorado Medicare, Colorado Medicaid, State plans and local Colorado Access plans, and is out of network with all private insurance companies. If you choose to use out of network benefits you have the option to be provided a receipt to submit to insurance for potential reimbursement. Please check with your health insurance provider about your specific plans coverage and options, if available, for reimbursement.
     

  2. How long is a session?
    Sessions are typically scheduled as a 50-minute hour. Extended sessions of 80-minutes are available if clinically indicated, please inquire about this if interested.
     

  3. What methods of payment are accepted?
    Clients may pay with cash, check or card. All cards accepted including HSA and FSA cards. Payment is due at the time of service.
     

  4. I have more questions, what should I do?
    I offer a free 15-minute consultation call to go over the highlights of what you are looking for in therapy, answer questions you may have, discuss whether we might be a good fit, and review pricing, scheduling/availability, etc. If all is well from there, we would move forward with scheduling a full session.
